Mobile game is like a video game played on a cellphone, mobile, portable media player, PDA etc. Advanced Java Games grow in popularity in cellphones to boost the market. Nokia’s N-Gage and Google’s Android are the two platforms have the potential to success the mobile games to the users.

Mobile games are played using various technology present on the device inside. Networked games are commonly used different technologies includes GPRS location identification, multimedia message, text message. The Non-networked applications use the device platform to run the game software. The all kind of games may be installed over the air and then side loaded onto the handset with a cable, or may be embedded on the handheld devices by the mobile operators or by the OEM.

Usually Games are downloaded by the mobile operator radio network. In some cases, mobile games are loaded into the handsets by infrared connection, memory card or Bluetooth when purchased. Commonly Java is used as a common platform for mobile games, its performance lead to the adoption of various native binary formats for more sophisticated games.
